Hospitality Confidential is pleased to present a new Vice President of Event Sales role located in Washington D.C. for two exciting food and beverage venues in prime locations with additional entertainment components. You will be responsible for selling top tier corporate and social events by attending to inbound leads as well as fostering your own book of external leads and new clients.
The company is growing nationally and needs an experienced team player who is self-motivated, results-driven, and passionate about creating experiences in this elevated sports entertainment and hospitality concept.

Job Responsibilities:
Daily/Weekly Disciplines: Focus on building your lead database as well as generating outbound phone calls, emails, and personal visits. You will also be responsible for managing all inbound emails and voicemails
Forecasting, generating contracts and BEOs, researching new business opportunities, attending events as needed, and all TripleSeat reporting
Ongoing business development to ensure new and repeat business
New target account development which includes all outreach including personal visits, cold calls, and emails.
Account development with existing clients and companies
Post-event actions – Thank you’s/Follow Ups
Client entertainment
Site visits/outside client meetings
Concierge and local business visits to push base business and current promotions
Key Influencer solicitation and development including attending networking events
Weekly Individual Touchbase Calls & Bi-Weekly Sales Team calls
Developing an action plan in conjunction with the VP of Event Sales, to be executed on a weekly basis with emphasis on target markets for outreach and increasing revenue.
Qualifications:
At least 5 years of experience in event sales and hospitality
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven track record in generating event or catering sales for a hospitality, food and beverage, or traditional restaurant venue
A love for the guest experience and cultivating new relationships out in the field
The time management skills and ability to manage a large number of inbound and outbound sales initiatives on a daily basis
We would love:
Knowledge of HubSpot, TripleSeat, and ZoomInfo is a plus
Compensation & Benefits:
$70K-90K base + 4% commission (Commission paid out monthly)
401K eligibility after 1 year of employment (The company matches 100% of the first 3% and 50% of the next 2%)
