Hospitality Confidential is pleased to present an exciting Regional Development Manager role with our growing QSR client. This role will be responsible for the territory of Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina and will require 75% travel!
This position reports to the Regional Director in the assigned territory and is responsible for growing revenue in the assigned territory through selling franchise opportunities. By gaining a strong knowledge of brand history, key sales elements, and business structure, this role will manage the full sales cycle.

The Work You’ll Do:
- Working within a predetermined budget, promotes all of the brand’s products through lead source, or cold calls increasing sales through prospecting, contacting, presenting, qualifying, nurturing, negotiating, and closing the sale.
- Collaborate with regional distributors to generate lead flow.
- Maintains the brand’s leads and customer information in customer database (CRM). Updates and modifies records using defined corporate policies.
- As an integral part of the sales team, attends and participates in Company trade shows; accumulates data concerning prospective sales; responds to questions and requests for information concerning Company products; makes favorable comparisons of Company products to the competition; accumulates new sales.
- Provides company defined reports in a timely and accurate manner, including, but not limited to, monthly and weekly lead reports and daily status reports.
- Proactively researches and identifies qualified multi-unit business owners and operators to build a targeted prospect pipeline.
- Prepares, coordinates and leads product and sales meetings/demonstrations ensuring product, equipment and personnel are available and operational for presentation.
- Heavy focus on regional outside street sales responding to all leads within 24 hours.
- Demonstrates a deep understanding of brand’s full offering and delivers compelling, needs-based messaging to the right customer segments.
- Exhibits a consultative selling style by asking insightful questions, understanding business drivers, and positioning the brand’s offerings as solutions to the prospect’s key pain points.
The Qualifications You’ll Bring:
- A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, sales OR equivalent work experience preferably in franchised or restaurant environment.
- Proven outside sales experience increasing revenue in assigned territory. QSR and/or Convenient Store (C-Store) experience preferred.
- Experience with Customer Business Database (CRM) is required. Microsoft 365 preferred.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
- Proven ability to maintain a high level of organization working in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly motivated to grow our brand within territory; consistent follow up to close deals; excellent relationship manager.
- Must be able to travel within assigned region 75% of the time with overnight travel.

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds frequently, 75 pounds occasionally as team lift.
- Must be able to stand for 8+ consecutive hours.
- Must be able to sit for 8+ consecutive hours.
Compensation & Benefits:
- $85K - $95K Base Salary + Quarterly Sales Incentives (typically ranging anywhere from $20K - $60K+ per year
