Hospitality Confidential is pleased to present an exciting new opportunity for a General Manager in Chandler, AZ. The General Manager would oversee the day-to-day operations of their Lounge, Sports Bar, and the event spaces.
This position requires a strong leader with an entrepreneurial mindset who can bring operational excellence, exceptional customer service, and innovative strategies to grow the business. The General Manager will be responsible for all aspects of hospitality, team management, marketing, and business development within the complex. There is an opportunity for future ownership stakes for candidates who demonstrate success in driving growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management:
Oversee all operations of the Lounge, the Sports Bar, and the event spaces, ensuring smooth and efficient running of daily business activities including FOH and BOH.
Implement operational procedures, policies, and best practices to maximize customer satisfaction and profitability.
Manage staffing levels, scheduling, and payroll to ensure optimal labor efficiency.
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including health, safety, and liquor laws.

Team Leadership:
Recruit, hire, train, and develop staff, fostering a high-performance culture.
Lead and motivate the team to deliver exceptional service, uphold brand standards, and meet sales targets.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback to improve employee performance.

Financial Management:
Manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and control costs to meet business goals.
Analyze sales, profitability, and expenses, implementing strategies to drive revenue growth and cost efficiency.
Maintain accurate financial records and report regularly to ownership.

Event Management:
Oversee corporate and social events, working closely with the director of events to ensure successful execution.
Ensure that the venue spaces are properly maintained, set up, and serviced for events.
Collaborate with the marketing team to promote event bookings and increase revenue.

Marketing and Business Development:
Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing clientele.
Foster relationships with local businesses, community leaders, and event planners to grow the venue’s reputation and clientele.
Ensure a robust social media presence and engage in promotional campaigns to enhance visibility.

Customer Experience:
Uphold the highest standards of customer service to create an inviting and enjoyable atmosphere.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and in a timely manner.
Ensure a premium hospitality experience for all patrons.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a General Manager or similar leadership role within the hospitality, restaurant, or event management industry.
Strong background in managing operations, staff, and financial performance.
Exceptional customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Solid understanding of marketing strategies, especially for bars, restaurants, and event spaces.
Knowledge of local and state health and safety regulations, including liquor laws.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality, or a related field (preferred but not required).
Highly Preferred Skills:
Entrepreneurial spirit with a desire to grow the business and develop innovative solutions.
Experience in both front-of-house and back-of-house management.
Knowledge of event planning and execution.
Proficient in POS systems, inventory management, and scheduling software.

Compensation and Benefits:
$85k-100k Base Salary
After 6 months, 5% net profit share of the business (paid out quarterly)
$300+ Monthly contribution toward health insurance
401K after one year of service, 3% contribution, vests after 6 years
PTO: 1 week sick and 2 weeks vacation
